Arkham Asylum

Arkham Asylum was a facility in the United States of America used to treat the criminally insane. It was founded by Amadeus Arkham in the late 19th Century to house maniacs. In the early 21st Century, under the care of Jeremiah Arkham, the facility also housed the insane supervillains. It became notorious for constantly having breakouts and prison riots. Though Arkham was often unable to cure these supervillains, other insane patients under the Asylum's care did receive their much-needed attention and treatment.
