Maxwell Dossey was a friend of Bruce Wayne's and a client of Mother. After purchasing his wife, Alicia Dossey, from Mother, Maxwell recommended Bruce do the same. Ironically, doing this resulted in Maxwell's assassination at the hands of Orphan.
