Dr. Silas Stone graduated from the University of Michigan in Synthetic Biology and Technical Cybernetics, choosing to work at S.T.A.R. Labs instead of LexCorp. Silas' wife, Elinore, died early and he ended up being distant from his son, Victor. After Superman debuted, Silas' work at S.T.A.R. Labs increased, though the friction with his son did as well as he refused to see his son waste time in sports when the world's metagene was becoming more and more active. Stone's experiments led to the creation of prometheium, which got Thomas Morrow to graft on his son when the latter was injured in the Parademon Invasion of Earth. Silas became more proud of his son than every before when the now cyborg became a part of the Justice League, though for several years they only talked to each other for updates on the cyborg tech.
